I am delighted to see an organization like NASM shining a spotlight on communication. Without great communication skills, well-designed exercise programs and thoughtful wellness advice both go unheard. Too many professionals in our industry think of their advice like prescriptions that cannot be molded to meet their clients' emotional needs or to sync with their clients' rocky exercise history.
